Fund Office

The Steamfitters' Industry Trust Funds are the employee benefit programs providing pension and welfare benefits to the 6,000 active and retired members of Steamfitters' Local 638, their dependents and beneficiaries. These programs include both the Construction and Metal Trades Branches of Local 638.

These funds, organized under the Taft Hartley Act of 1947, include two defined benefit and one defined contribution pension plan, two health and welfare funds, a security benefit fund, a vacation plan and two educational funds.

The purpose of this site is to provide plan participants with information regarding these funds, including summary plan descriptions, benefit forms, current fund news and other documents which may be useful to the Funds' participants.
